WE SUPPORT WOMEN’S REFUGE.

Women’s refuges all over New Zealand are currently underfunded (having received cuts in the latter years) and this results in compromised services and limited support for women.

One offshoot of this is that women granted temporary refuge from violent situations are required to return home after 3 days away.

This has been shown statistically to be the worst time to return to a domestic violence situation as this is the time when the abuser is at their most angry.

We would like to support a change and an increase in the help offered to women at refuges so that all women can feel safe to leave when they need to.

To this end, we at Divine Feminine donate 50% of all prayer proceeds to the Women’s refuge in Wellington.
